Charmaine Kuhn

Charmaine’s childhood dream was to work on a film inside Universal Studios. She accomplished that dream by 24, working as the Assistant Production Coordinator on American film Con Man, starring Mark Hamill, James Caan, Talia Shire and Ving Rhames.

Since then, Charmaine has worked with many of the most prestigious Cast and Crew having worked for 20+ years professionally across Los Angeles and Australia as an Assistant Director/ Director. Her first year spent in LA, saw her study directing full time at The New York Film Academy. Her second year; professionally Coordinate and Assistant Direct 8 feature films, back to back. As well as Direct 10 short films in her spare time. Two of which were invited to screen inside Warner Brothers Studios and another at the prestigious Egyptian Theatre on Hollywood Blvd.

Charmaine has grown up around motorbikes and is incredibly passionate about creating more global awareness and support for female’s kicking butt in this male dominated sport. ​

Her most recent Producing Achievement comes with Short Film- Ashes, which was 1 of 6 films Nominated for Best Short Film through The Australian Academy Cinema Television Arts (AACTA) for 2024. A film starring Georgina Haig, Michael Caton and Michala Banas. ​
